Day Number One (September 19, 2011)

Today was my first day playing (or attempting) the UKULELE! After asking a few peers for some advice I started the learning the basics of strumming.  It may appear easy, but since I've never played stringed intruments before, the coordination it takes is incredible!  I also learned four chords today: C, G, F, and A minor.  Hopefully I'll be able to play a song by the end of this project, but currently I'm just working at strumming and moving my fingers at to the right frets and strings.

    This is great! It can be very difficult to get your fingers to work right on a stringed instrument. I started playing guitar about 4 years ago, and I am just starting to get comfortable with some chord shapes! Keep it up!
